Pocket Genesis v7.8: Stock Charting & Technical Analysis System

Pocket Genesis is a stock charting and technical analysis system from FIS Group that includes an historical quotes downloader and assists in investment decisions by analyzing data using a complete set of models, filters and charting tools. The system supports all instruments from every financial market, including stocks and shares, mutual funds, indices, bonds, commodities, futures and options.

Pocket Genesis can also be used to analyze any other kind of data. Data files can be saved to the CE device from desktop PCs, downloaded from the Internet/Intranet or from any source and used by Pocket Genesis.

Pocket Genesis (ver 7.8) provides Internet connectivity so data can be retrieved from the Internet or Intranet and chart directly in Pocket Genesis without the need for any browser or intermediate data repository. Users have the option to either enter any Internet or Intranet URL from where to retrieve the data from, or use the URL builder to fetch FREE data from Yahoo Finance.

Pocket Genesis incorporates an historical quotes downloader to download quotes data and can export data in CSV file format to allow users to build a local database and therefore work offline or import the data into other applications, such as MS Excel. The export option provides an ideal way to massage data before uploading back into Pocket Genesis for further analysis.

Pocket Genesis has re-addressed the fundamental issue of how to handle data, whilst remaining to be independent from all data suppliers. As a result, the system provides enhanced and simplified data connectivity, and further support for additional data formats.
